Pre-orders begin on 20th October at amazon.
From the best selling manga "Yotsuba&!" (Kiyohiko Azuma - ASCII Media Works) comes the robot costume that was built completely out of cardboard boxes during the summer vacation, "Danbo"!
But what if those boxes were all Amazon boxes?
Using that idea, the Revoltech Danbo (Amazon Box Version) was created. It's been one year since it went on sale, but now it's coming back in a more petite size. Compared to the previous size of 130mm, this one is approximately 80mm in height; you could attach a string to it and hang it adorably from your bag - it's the perfect mascot size.
Everything that was in the larger version has been downsized into this version as well - from the eyes that can light up to the Revoltech joints in the arms and legs. Everything moves just like before. There is a special coating on the figure that makes it feel as if it really was made of cardboard, and every fine detail of the logos and warnings on the boxes has been kept. (Miura-chan's face that came with the original Revoltech Danbo Amazon Box Version is not included.)
This time around the Amazon.co.jp version also comes with it's own personal package that looks like a miniature Amazon box!
The first wave of figures that release on December 15th will include a limited edition clear brown rib container with the Amazon.co.jp logo marking the front. This limited edition container will only be sold with the first batch of releases, from the second a different color will be used. (The rib container is a small box used to store the optional Revoltech parts and joints.)
